Combining the experience of our highly qualified specialist with the large range of tools available, we are able to offer a wide range of on-site machining services, ranging from complex turnkey repairs of 80MW diesel engine crankshafts to a minor thread repair on a wind turbine.
Metalock Denmark was founded in 1952 under the name Metalock A/S. In 1999 Metalock Denmark A/S became "Approved Supplier of On-Site Machining", by MAN B&W Diesel A/S. August 2008, Metalock Denmark was acquired by MAN Diesel & Turbo and is now part of PrimeServ Copenhagen.
We have 25 experienced engineers specialized to serve our customers World Wide with short mobilization time, solving a wide range of on-site machining tasks and Metalock repairs for marine, industrial, and off-shore applications.
We have in-house engineering capacity with support from MAN Diesel & Turbo OEM engineering departments.
Our headquarter and workshop is located in Ishøj near Copenhagen where we have a wide range of tools and specialist equipment available to solve a wide range of on-site machining tasks.

Metal stitching of cast iron is a well approved method used since 1938. This method has solved a lot of machine casings, pumps, presses and engines frames from scrapping.

Laser alignment guarantees location, orientation and size measurement during every phase of machining operations, such as main bearing pockets, bedplates and support foundations in general.
